Dream Job

My Dream Job,

I have always been interested in accounting, but my dream job would be to start up my own business although I am unsure what kind of business it would be or which industry it would trade in,

Simply, I want to own and operate my own business which is of course successful and I would really like it to be a business which I could turn into a franchise and open up stores all over Adelaide and also Australia. 

 

Commerce

As you know, if you have read my previous posts I am studying Commerce majoring in Management at Adelaide University. I just wanted to give a brief outline as to why I chose to do Commerce (Management).

Ever since year 11 I have found business studies an interesting subject, as I have always wanted to understand and be involved with businesses and business management and what better way to do that then becoming the manager of the business. I continued on with management type subjects again in year 12 and then towards the end of year 12 it was make or break time so I had to choose a course that I was going to study, I chose commerce because I knew commerce was one of those subjects that was very broad, so i decided to go with commerce and keep my options open and then beginning my second year I had decided that Management was a good fit and decided to make that my Major. 

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE PREDICTIONS

The UEFA Champions league is into the quarterfinals with 8 of the worlds greatest teams ready to battle it out for the UEFA Champions Cup title.

PSG V Barcelona

Barcelona with qualify through to the next round, they are without a doubt the worlds greatest team at the moment and even though there squad has some injuries they are still strong and will overcome PSG. Messi alone will cause havoc for the PSG defense, although PSG also have a strong side with Ibrahimovic and Lavezzi up front.

Bayern Munich V Juventus

This is a hard one to call both teams are currently at the top of their league Bayern running away with the Bundesliga top spot and Juventus at the top although they are followed closely behind by second Napoli and third AC Milan. Although Bayern do have a stronger and more consistent squad so my money is on Bayern to qualify.

Malaga CF V Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund all the way, Malaga have managed to scrape through the Last 16 beating Porto and somehow finished first in their group. I doubt they will be able to beat Borussisa to earn themselves a spot in the Semis.

Real Madrid V Galatasary

Real Madrid will go through to the semis no doubt about it. Galatasary have a good squad with disciplined players but the Real squad are unbelievable, not just because of Cristiano Ronaldo and his massive impact he has on the game but also because of Higuain, Pepe, Marcelo and Di Maria who are world class players aswell.

CROWS V ESSENDON

Disappointing

First game of the 2013 AFL season, Adelaide v Essendon (AT: AAMI STADIUM)

Even though the Crows had the game in the bag, but Essendon proved to strong to overcome. 

Crows kicked the first four goals before Essendon were able to kick their first, but even that lead didnt give the Crows the strength they needed to overcome the bombers.

Miami Heat: ON FIRE

Miami Heat won their 26th game in a row today against Charlotte Bobcats 109-77.


The longest winning streak was the LA LAKERS with 33 wins in a row; Miami will have to win the next 8 matches to beat the Lakers 33 game streak.
This will prove difficult for the heat with their next match against few matches proving to be difficult; also if they manage to win the next three games their 30th game in a row will be against St Antonio Spurs who are top of the table in the Western Conference.

About ME

My name is Daniel Cannella, Im 20 years old, born on the 1st September 1992. I live at Newton, went to primary school at St Francis of Assisi. High school I went to Rostrevor College and graduated Rostrevor in 2010. Im studying Commerce majoring in Management at Adelaide University.

I work at Woolworths at Marden, as a grocery assistant and have been working there for almost five years, and before I worked at Woolworths I worked at Harris Scarfe in the city.

Used to play soccer for Campbelltown city soccer club and also NAB soccer club, but have stopped playing club soccer and currently play indoor soccer at ICA.

I enjoy going out with my girlfriend, mates, going to the movies, playing and watching sports.
